We’re very lucky to have lots of great eating options locally.

A (very) short walk away you’ll find the Tigh an Truish which offers great food, drink and snack options. Check out their website and social media for the latest information.

A short drive away in Ellenabeich you’ll find the Oyster Bar open seven days a week and serving a fabulous mix of pub favourites and fresh seafood. And weather permitting you can also enjoy this view from their deck

If it’s a sweet treat that you’re after give in to temptation with a delicious cake from plant based Sorcha Bakery You’ll find their products at Balvicar Stores and regular pop-ups at the Rockfield Centre Oban.

Now, we’ll always set you up for the day with our breakfasts but if you want a little something to keep you going through the day, or perhaps as a souvenir of your stay then you’ll find a wide range of local produce at Balvicar stores, including coffee from local roasters Hinba (it’s what we serve here). Hinba also have cafe in Oban.

Sadly we have to say goodbye to a couple of local food heroes. The Fisherman’s Kitchen is closing its doors, unless you’ve managed to secure one of their last few take away slots. And after serving up pizza and bread throughout the lockdown, Solace bakery has closed down.

Over the sea on Easdale The Puffer Bar is open for business again, check out their social media for details.

Really the only problem you’ll have is deciding where to eat.
